Fun, nude calendar and film from SHU Rugby, sold to raise money for the club to buy training equipment and encourage new people to try rugby. The main reason for this Crowdfunder appeal is to raise money to cover the cost of getting the calendars printed. Usually I pay for the printing out of my own pocket but as I have just gone self-employed things are a bit tight and I don't want to use club funds to pay for printing when that club money could be put to good use buying much needed kit, equipment and training.
Stacey Wilcox was diagnosed with the terrible disease in November - but her friends were determined not to let her suffer alone. A group of pals have agreed to bare all to back their pal who is battling breast cancer. Now the 19 northern girls have pledged to ditch their bras and pose around various landmarks for a saucy charity calender.
To raise money to cover printing costs, so all money raised from calendar sales goes direct to the Danny Porter Foundation cancer charity. If we manage to break our target, all the money raised will be split between the development fund and our nominated charity, the Danny Porter Foundation. Our project is the official SHU Rugby nude charity calendar and behind the scenes film, which raises money for the Danny Porter Foundation cancer charity, and the club's Community Development Fund.
There is nothing new these days in seeing groups of women posing nude for charity calendars in a bid to raise money. But for these ladies the challenge was one very close to their hearts - they are all breast cancer patients. The 40 women from Spire Washington Hospital decided to raise money by posing nude for a special calendar. The calendar features older and younger female patients who were treated at the hospital, plus a male patient who also underwent a mastectomy.

The Oxford University women's rugby team is tackling a good cause by posing nude for a calendar. Wearing just socks and cleats in many of the black-and-white photos, the players are captured in a variety of settings around the stadium and the city. Tatiana Cutts, from the September page, got to participate in one of the more active shots, tackling teammate Danielle Yardy into a river. Discreetly naked rugby team pictorials seem to be gaining some footing.
